Former UN General Secretary Kofi Annan Says Ebola Is A Poor Man’s Disease
In an interview with the CNN, former United Nations general secretary Kofi Annan blamed the vast spread and lack of action towards Ebola because it developed in the “poor” part of the world.
Annan said the best way to stop the virus was restricting it to West Africa, and solving it there.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner also pushed for more support in terms of funding and health workers towards the affected regions.
